Mayor of Surigao City, a position he has held since winning the local elections in 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2002, which has helped shape his focus on infrastructure, urban development, and resilient city planning. Before entering politics, he was active in professional and civic organizations, including leadership roles in the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers and Junior Chamber International.
